WARNING
Refer to the dome handbook for the list of available functions. The access level is 3 (complete
control).
The dome address must be configured correctly. The dome address cannot be changed by remote
control. See the appropriate handbook.
The particular protocol in use does not allow control of more than one dome on the same line at
the same instant because the line is released only at the end of all operations associated with the
selected camera. The ideal situation is to use a single control keyboard per line.

6.3.3

Configuration

The parameters can be configured by inserting a special code (see the related section).
For all dome configuration operations it is necessary to enable the "Setup telemetry" FUNCTION (see §
4.2.4.5 - Functions, page 35
).

Follow the general procedure to connect the dome directly to the keyboard and a monitor to the dome video
OUT (see § 6.19 - Operating procedure for setting a dome/receiver, page 137).

6.3.4

Autopan, Aux, Focus, Iris

All these functions can be loaded by pressing the specific keys in the control menu area of the Main menu (see
§ 4.4 – Control menu area, page 45
).
Refer to § 9.1 – Functions assigned to the most common graphics keys, page 164 e § 9.2.1 – Dome, page 165
to check which functions are available for the dome.

6.3.5

Preset, Scan and Home

The PRESET, SCAN and HOME functions are described in § 4.4.1.1 - PRESET, page 46 and § 4.4.2 - SCAN
MENU, page 48
.
Refer to § 9.2.1 – Dome, page 165 to check the specific limits for the dome.

The Elbex Dome interprets the Preset/Scan positions between No. 1 and No. 199 as follows:
Preset Position Nos. 1 ÷ 99: Storage of the Preset position.
Scan Position Nos. 1 ÷ 99: Movement to the Preset position.
Preset Position No. 100: Storage of the local alarm position.
Scan Position No.100: Movement to the local alarm position.
