Activate the Clock
1. Press and hold the [VOL/SEL] key for one second to activate the Menu mode.
2. Rotate the DIAL knob to select Menu Item “F9 CLOCK ON”.
3. Press the
key to enable selection of this Menu Item.
4. Rotate the DIAL knob to select “ON”.
Display the Clock
1. Press the [VOL/SEL] key repeatedly to display the Clock, Stop Watch Timer, or Ther-
mometer.
2. Rotate the DIAL knob to display the Clock.
When the Clock is already displayed in the above step, this
step is unnecessary
You may change the status that the DIAL knob, so it does not return automatically to the
Frequency Select dial function.
P Press and hold the key for one second to reset the “Minute” and “Second” clock
display to “00”.
Example 1
“XX:00:00” ~ “XX:29:59” to reset to “XX:00:00”
“10:29:59” ¯ “10:00:00”
Example 2
“XX:30:00” ~ “XX:59:59” to reset to “XX+1:00:00”
“10:49:49” ¯ “11:00:00”
P You may change the time system via the Menu Item “T4 12H/24H”.
Available selections are “12H” and “24H”
P You may change the clock format via the Menu Item “T3 T FORMAT”.
Available selections are “HH:MM:SS”, “HH:MM”, and “MM:SS”.
P The accuracy of the clock on this radio is 30 seconds per month under the normal
temperature. This accuracy depends on the temperature fluctuations in the place
where the radio is used.
P The clock has a back-up Lithium battery, and will function for around 2 months after
disconnecting the power supply cable.
