E – Echo
Description:
This command is used to determine whether or not the modem echoes characters
received by an external application (DTE).
Syntax:
ATE

ATE0 OK Characters are not
echoed
ATE1 OK Characters are echoed
&F – Restore factory settings
Description:
This command is used to restore the factory settings from EEPROM.
The settings which are restored are listed in the end of the manual
