When the fixed dialling phonebook (FDN) is locked, this command is not allowed.
Moreover, when the FDN is unlocked, PIN2 is required to write in the FDN phonebook.
But if PIN2 authentication has been performed during the current session, the +CPBW
command with FDN is allowed.

<index>

integer type value depending on the capacity of the phonebook memory.

<number> phone number in ASCII format.
<type>

TON/NPI (Type of address octet in integer format).

NOTE: for the <type> parameter, all values are allowed from 0 to 255, but the MSB will

be set to 1 in all

cases (example: a <type> value of 17 will be written as

145).

<text> string type.

NOTE 1: For the <text> parameter all strings starting with “80” , “81” or “81” are

considered in UCS2 format. See the APPENDIX E (Coding of Alpha fields
in the SIM for UCS2).

NOTE 2: The +CSCS (Select Character set) command does not affect the format

for phonebook entries.
