The maintenance port provides access to the card

This port cannot be used for installation.

This port does not display bootup messages and
the user cannot change boot parameters using
this port.

The Shielded 50-pin to Serial/ELAN/TLAN
adapter provides connections to the card through
the connector labelled Card 1, Card 2, Card 3, or
Card 4 that corresponds to the card location.
