Step 1. Select “Energy Saver” from the System Control menu to open the
Energy Saver window (see figure 4-12).

Select the Disabled button to turn off the energy saver mode, or
select the Enabled button to turn on the energy saver mode.
Step 2. If the Enabled button is selected, the Time Out Period appears. Enter
the number of minutes in the Time Out Period field. The smallest
number that can be entered is 10, the largest is 65,535.
Step 3. Select the appropriate header button:
• Apply/Close. Apply your selection and close the window.
•
Apply. Apply your selection.
• Close. Close the window.
Energy Saver task through
command line
To adjust the time-out period, enter the following command:
ENERGY [ timeout]

timeout The number of minutes after which the energy
saver mode begins. If you do not enter a value,
the current timeout value appears.
