7. Operation <Practical Steps>
Warning: Excited phase detection is performed when the servo is turned on for the first time after the
power has been turned on, or before an absolute reset is executed following the
connection of a simple absolute unit. For this reason, the actuator moves 0.5 to 2 mm
under the normal circumstances, although it depends on the lead length of ball screws.
(Depending on the position when the power supply is turned on, the controller may move
up to the length of the ball screw lead although it is very rare.)
If the power is turned on when the actuator is positioned near a mechanical end, the
detection operation may cause the actuator to contact the mechanical end and reverse.
Pay sufficient care so that the work part and hand do not interfere with peripheral objects
and get damaged with this operation
