Lithium Ion Battery
The portable X Series device is powered by a removable Lithium Ion battery pack. This battery
pack incorporates protection circuitry and "smart battery" circuitry. The battery power is routed
from the 2-pin connector on the rear of the device to J29 of the Monitor board. The Power
Controller communicates to the smart circuitry on the battery through the 4 spring contacts
connected to J34 on the Monitor board.
