Interruption of operation and replacement of
rechargeable batteries
Disconnection and replacement of rechargeable batteries:
Disconnect the
from the mains power. Remove the upper cover (see
CU
preceding chapter – Electrical installation CU – Operational start).
If you want to disconnect the backup rechargeable batteries, disconnect the
connecting cable between them (see picture).
If you are replacing the rechargeable batteries, also disconnect the FASTON
terminals of the cable linking the rechargeable batteries with the base board.
Remove the rechargeable battery holder using a number 8 spanner.
Replace the rechargeable batteries and fix the holder again using a number 8
spanner.
Reconnect the rechargeable batteries with the cables and then with the base
plate.
Put the upper cover back on the
and tighten the screws which hold the cover.

Before putting the cover on, check to see that the earthing wire is connected to
the cover!
