Triphony
Triphony serves for connection between announcers within one shaft. From the
machine room announcer it is possible to perform triphony with another shaft.
This mode is distinguished by a different configuration of the handsfree automatic. The
microphones of active announcers are less sensitive than in the ALARM mode.
Termination of triphony – possibilities:
second press of TRIPHONY button
expiry of time limit
incoming call or ALARM – has precedence
Check call
A check call is an outgoing call made automatically (usually every 3 days). The purpose
is to check the correct function of the system. This call is usually dealt with
automatically in the control centre.
A check call can be sent to the control centre via PSTN, GSM or UMTS. The
configuration is performed by configuration of par 071-076 and 981 (see chapter 3.2
table of parameters)
Caution
Using # we can return one level higher in the voice menu.
It is possible to end the voice menu by holding # (for longer than 2s), or after
getting to the top menu and pressing #.
