Connection of announcers:
It is possible to connect up to 5 announcers to each splitter. Because a splitter
has only 3 terminals for connection the audio units, we connect 1-2 announcers
in series one after the other.
We pull out the push-on terminals from the connectors for the audio units and
connect up the twin-wire. We must adhere to polarity, otherwise the connected
announcers will not work.
The polarity of connection is shown on the picture printed on the splitter and
announcer.
Requirements:
Connect a maximum of 2 announcers to one terminal.
When using multi–strand cables, always use a pair of wires which belong to each
other. In the case of regular cables of the UTP type the paired wires are twisted
around each other.
When running special cables (to the cabin), use neighbouring wires and ensure
that the nearest surrounding wire is not a source of interference (for example,
power wire, videosignal etc.).
Recommendation:
Do not run the bus near power wires, especially long sections.
The bus can be forked, in particular if this makes the overall length of all sections
shorter.

Connection of function for blocking of lift
Blocking works by the contact breaking when there is a fault of the telephone line
(PSTN, GSM, UMTS) or if the
rechargeable batteries are nearly flat. Connect the

contact to the relevant input of the control electronics of the lift or group of lifts. The
control electronics must ensure that after the breaking of the contact, the lifts which
are in operation go down to the nearest station and the doors open.
Warning
Do not configure the splitter address as 0, 1 and 9 or the system will
report a fault
Address 1 is used by the central unit
Warning
The bus is electrically separated from the circuits of the telephone line
according to the requirements of EN60950 and has only low voltage which
cannot cause an electric shock injury.
Caution
This function may be mandatory, which depends on regulations valid in
the given country and time when you perform the installation.
