4.2 Instructions for control centre
ALARM call
The process is launched by the ALARM button on any announcer. After the
pressing of this button
calls the control centre (for details see automatic L8
dialling).
A received call is either confirmed according to the configuration (parameter
111-116 -> Type of confirmation for memory 1-6 ALARM call - set 1 ). The L8
has a factory setting for confirmation of DTMF 1.
If the control centre is equipped with the application 2N communicator, it is
possible to configure the automatic sending of DTMF 1 after picking up a call.
The call is time limited (warning announcement “caution, the call is ending”, but
it can be extended. Button 4 serves for this purpose).
It is appropriate to end the call by pressing the button 5 or #.
Calling from control centre to lift
The control centre can also call back to the communicator. The CU automatically takes
every incoming call, identifies itself and with the voice menu (DISA) it offers a choice of
other functions. It is also possible to get through to the required announcer. An
incoming call is time limited in the same way as an outgoing call and is handled in the
same way (extension, termination).

The aforementioned menu makes it possible to call a specific announcer.
