Connection of ALARM button

Requirements :

The ALARM button must comply with the requirements valid for the given
installation in terms of its version (colour, pictogram, surface of keypad,
mechanical operation).

Button control

Requirements :

The ALARM button must have a make or break contact which is not connected to
any other circuits.
None of the outlets of the button may be galvanically linked with any other
electrical circuit, no voltage may be connected to the ALARM clamps – only
contact.
If the ALARM button has several contacts and a different contact is connected to
a different circuit, the corresponding insulation strength between the contacts
corresponding to valid standards must be ensured.

Procedure :

Leave the ALARM clamp in the lower position (3).
If you use a make contact, leave the jumper as is (5 pin on jumper 12) – ALARM
without fitting jumper (this configuration is the factory one)
If you use a break contact, fit the jumper (5 pin on jumper 12) - ALARM inverted
– jumper fitted

Voltage control

Requirements :

direct voltage in range of 12 to 48 V.
The voltage signal must be functional even during a power failure.

Procedure :

Move the ALARM clamp up two pins to the position (2).
For activation by connection of voltage, leave the jumper as is (5 pin on jumper
12) - ALARM without fitting jumper (this configuration is the factory one)
For activation by disconnection of voltage, fit jumper (5 pin on jumper 12) –

Warning

The connection of the announcer to a different wire, for example to a
higher voltage, will result in its damage or destruction.
Maintain polarity when connecting the announcer, otherwise the
announcer will not work.

Caution

The announcer is connected via a 2-wire bus. The disconnection of these
wires causes the announcer to switch off.
Beware of duplicate configuration of location of announcers.
