Incoming call

The control centre can also call back to the communicator. The CU automatically takes
every incoming call, identifies itself and with the voice menu (DISA) it offers a choice of
other functions. It is also possible to get through to the required announcer. An
incoming call is time limited in the same way as an outgoing call and is handled in the
same way (extension, termination).

If the operator needs to talk with the announcer from which the previous call was
made, 0 must be entered in the voice menu.

Welcome, this is a communicator…..
For connection with the last calling announcer press 0.
For connection with another announcer, enter the number of the lift X.

For connection with the lift cabin press 1
For connection with the cabin roof press 2
For connection with the bottom of the lift cabin press 3
For connection with the bottom of the shaft press 4
For connection with the machine room press 5
For return to the main menu press #

For administration press 9

For entry to the programming menu press 1
For termination of the rescue process press 2
For playing information about this communicator press 3
For return to the main menu press #

To end the call press #.

Ranking of calls

If during ongoing communication there should arise another requirement, we are
talking about ranking of calls. Calls have different priorities – the Fireman function has
the highest priority, and this is followed by press of the Alarm button. For this reason
it interrupts another call with lower priority (for example check call). Requirements
with the same priority are put in queue and dealt with one after the other. Then the L8
returns to the interrupted activity if possible.
