After the application is launched, a splashscreen gets displayed informing you of the
application manufacturer and current version. Start it to display the basic login screen
and Configuration / Parameters menu. Prepare a table of parameters offline and export
it or view the diagnostic packs. Click the Connect device button to connect to the
Central Unit (CU) and display the Connect to device menu for login selection: TCP
(default) or USB.

to the left. If you have installed the application for the first

time, the default connection will be created automatically. This connection cannot be
removed. It is easy to establish the CU connection, just enter the correct values into
the connection parameters: Connection name and CU public network address into IP

address. Use the DNS server name if available. Enter the CU listening port into the
Port parameter. The default port value is 7007. Contact your LAN administrator to
verify the settings. Further parameters include the Username and CU Password; see
the figure. Now select the server connection and press Connect or double-click the

selected server with the left button . The application will log you in to the 2N Lift8

®

Click the New server and New group buttons to create a tree structure of your own.
Log in to the CU to save the settings. Select a connection and press Delete selected to
remove a connection.
