Configuring Machine Settings Using Dell Printer Configuration Web Tool

Dell Printer Configuration Web Tool enables you to change various settings on the machine

from a computer.

Note

Confirm that the port in use is enabled in [Properties] tab > [Connectivity] > [Port Settings] of Dell

Printer Configuration Web Tool when an item that you want to set is not displayed.

If you change a setting from Dell Printer Configuration Web Tool while the control panel is being used,

the change does not take effect until you manually reboot the machine. If [Auto Clear] is set to [On],

the changed items are displayed on the control panel after the machine reboots. For information about

Auto Clear, refer to "Auto Clear" (P.296).

You may be prompted to enter your user name and passcode when you attempt to change settings on

Dell Printer Configuration Web Tool. In that case, enter the system administrator's user ID and

passcode into the [User Name] and [Password] fields. The default user ID is "admin" and passcode is

"1111".

You can configure the following settings with Dell Printer Configuration Web Tool:
