iodReset
Disables in-order delivery (IOD) on a switch.
Synopsis
iodreset
Description
Use this command to disable in-order delivery enforcement on the local switch. IOD is disabled by
default, and can only be disabled after it has been enabled with the iodSet command. This
command disables the legacy IOD enforcement only.
Disabling IOD allows faster rerouting after a fabric topology change, but it may cause out-of-order
delivery of frames during fabric topology changes.
Note
The execution of this command is subject to Virtual Fabric or Admin Domain restrictions that may
be in place. Refer to chapter 1, "Using Fabric OS commands" and Appendix A, "Command
Availability" for details.
