secPolicyAbort

Aborts all unsaved changes to the defined database.

Synopsis

secpolicyabort

Description

Use this command to abort all changes to the defined security database that have not been saved
to flash memory and to abort changes to policy creation and modification operations from all the
switches if a fabric-wide consistency policy is not set for the particular policy.

Notes

When an FCS policy is enabled, this command can be issued only from the Primary FCS switch.

Only the user who made the changes to the defined database may use this command to abort
them.

The execution of this command is subject to Virtual Fabric or Admin Domain restrictions that may
be in place. Refer to chapter 1, "Using Fabric OS commands" and Appendix A, "Command
Availability"
for details.

none

Examples

To abort all changes that have not been saved to nonvolatile memory:

primaryfcs:admin>

secpolicyabort

Unsaved data has been aborted.

primaryfcs:admin>

secpolicyabort

No new data to abort.
