3.3.4.3.2.4.- LTE
Part of the electromagnetic spectrum formerly occupied by signals from digital terrestrial
television (DTT), now goes mobile services fourth-generation, or LTE (800 MHz band). The
presence of the LTE signal in distribution systems DTT, can affect the quality of the TV signal.
The following are various functions for the LTE signal analysis and its influence on digital
terrestrial television signal (UHF band).
3.3.4.3.2.4.1.- LTE Check
This function estimates the need to insert a LTE filter at the input of a Digital Terrestrial Television
(DTT) system, in order to minimize interferences that may cause the LTE signal on the DVB-T
signal.
- LTE Check -
If it is necessary to insert a filter, is indicated on the screen (in the bottom right corner it is
displayed "
Required LTE filter ") and recommend the most appropriate Televés filter (as shown
in the bottom left corner, " Rec. filter ").
If it was not necessary to insert a filter, it will be displayed the text " LTE Check OK " instead of
" Required LTE filter. "
On the screen are displayed simultaneously: 1-The spectrum of the high "UHF" band (closest
to the LTE band); 2- The spectrum of the LTE down-link; 3- And the spectrum of the LTE
up-link.
In addition to the recommended filter, you can select various filters Televés LTE and display the
simulation of how the system would respond with a LTE filter inserted on its input (orange
graphic). Use the rotary selector to choice each one of the available filters.
The selected filter is displayed in the bottom center of the screen, there is also the option of not
selecting a filter.
