3.3.2.8.- Ethernet

This feature allows you to connect the meter to TCP / IP data networks for remote
management. For this purpose the Meter features an Ethernet port and menus that will allow
the configuration of network settings (DHCP, static IP, etc).

Meter management is done through a web client (Chrome, Opera, Explorer, Safari, ... etc) which
allows access to the meter from any platform, regardless of operating system. Thanks to this,
the meter can be used virtually anywhere, provided you have a link between the client and the
meter.

In order to manage the computer remotely:

- You must have a computer with option H60 Ref 598903.

- You must have a web client that supports HTML5.

- To access from a LAN: Ethernet network connection between the two points.

- To access through the Internet:

- You must have a public IP, preferably static.

- You must configure the router to redirect port 80 to the IP of the Meter.

- The Meter must be connected by Ethernet cable to your data network.

Selecting this function will open a window that allows us to configure our connection to the
network:

=> In the event there is a signal in the Mini-DIN, and it is being displayed on the screen

(input mode ON), the meter will continue functioning normally in regard to
measurements. This means that the measurements that will be made are those
corresponding to the input signal of the “F” connector. No measurements can be made
with the SCART signal. The same thing happens in regard to the spectrum depiction of
the signal, i.e., although the image displayed on the screen is from the SCART, the
spectrum will be that corresponding to the RF input signal. The only exception to the
above is the display of the synchronism impulse and of the line, whether it is from the
SCART or the "F" connector.

=> It is convenient to remember that if you wish to view any TV signal, you can take the

menus off the screen by using key

and remove measuring windows by using .
