(CONFIG, TX) DATA RATE


The overall range of data rates is from 2.4 to 9980 kbps. The overall range of symbol
rates
is from 4.8 to 3000 ksymbols/second. The minimum and maximum data rates are
dependent on modulation type and FEC encoder rate. If user changes the modulation or
FEC, and the currently selected data rate can no longer be supported, then the data rate
will be adjusted automatically, up or down, keeping the symbol rate constant. The
bottom line of the display shows the symbol rate, based on FEC type, modulation, FEC
Code Rate, and Data Rate. The valid ranges of data rate are shown in the table below.

If the current interface type is selected to be G.703, the data rate will be automatically set
to either 1544 kbps (T1) or 2048 kbps (E1).
