5.9.2. ANALOG OUTPUT

Analog Output is used as a step test to check the accuracy and proper operation of the
analog outputs. The test forces all four analog output channels to produce signals
ranging from 0% to 100% of the full scale range in 20% increments. This test is useful
to verify the operation of the data logging/recording devices attached to the analyzer.
(See also Section

12.5.8.2).

Access the Analog Output Step Test from the DIAG Menu as follows:

5.9.3. ANALOG I/O CONFIGURATION

The GFC7001T/GFC7001TM Analyzer comes equipped with four analog outputs.

 The first two outputs (A1 & A2) carry analog signals that represent the

currently measured concentration of CO (see Section 5.4.1).

 The third output (A3) is only active if the analyzer is equipped with one of

the optional 2

nd

gas sensors (e.g. O

2

or CO

2

).

 The fourth output (A4) outputs a signal that can be set to represent the

current value of one of several test functions (see Table 5-9).

Table 5-5 lists the analog I/O functions that are available in the
GFC7001T/GFC7001TM Analyzer.
