Saving the Previous Configuration Using the CLI

To save your current configuration using the CLI, enter the
following command in Priv mode:

># copy tftp <filename-opt-path>

Downloading a Software Image

You can download the version 5.0 software image from a TFTP
server to an APP location using either the web agent or the CLI.

Downloading a Software Image Using the Web Agent

To download the version 5.0 software image from a TFTP server to
an APP location using the web agent:

1. Select System from the System > Memory >TFTP Update

group on the web agent window. The System TFTP Update
dialog box opens (Figure A-1).

2. Enter the IP address of the TFTP server that has the version

5.0 software image in the TFTP Server IP Address field.

3. Enter one of the following in the File Name field:

m5500_v5.0.0.bin to download version 5.0 for the Cajun
P550 switch (layer 2)

m5500r_v5.0.0.bin to download version 5.0 for the
Cajun P550R switch (layer 3)

m8800_v5.0.0.bin to download version 5.0 for the Cajun
P880 switch

4. Select the location where you want to download the version

5.0 software image from the TFTP Target Section field
pull-down menu.

5. Click Update in Perform Update Now field.

6. Click Status in Get Status of Most Recent Update field to

verify that the new image downloaded properly.
