PIT COVERS
Before installing the covers, be sure to install the battery, pickup card, eddy
current brake, air brake, EEC Kit, and any accessories you may have purchased
with your dyno.
This section describes how to install the pit covers and drum guards.
C HANGING THE R ETARDER C OVER FOR R IGHT S IDE I NSTALLATIONS
Note: If you ordered an eddy current brake (retarder) and plan to mount it on the
right side, you will need to change the retarder cover.

1 Remove the six 1/4-20-inch button-head screws, 1/4-inch flat washers, and
1/4-20-inch lock nuts securing the two angle supports to the bottom of the
retarder cover and set aside.
