MAINTENANCE AND SERVICING

Replacing Chain on Single Reel

1.

Lift chain (A) off drive sprocket (B).

2.

Lower chain until free of lower sprocket (C) and remove
chain from drive.

3.

Locate new chain (A) around bottom teeth on lower
sprocket (C).

4.

Lift chain onto drive sprocket (B) ensuring all links are
properly engaged in teeth.

Tightening Drive Chain

1.

Ensure the six bolts (B) securing motor mount to chain
case are loose.

2.

Slide motor and motor mount upwards until chain (A)
is tight, and tighten bolts (nuts on backside).

3.

There should be 1/8 in. (3 mm) of slack in the chain.
Adjust if necessary.

4.

Torque bolts (B) to 54 lbf·ft (73 N·m).

Installing Drive Cover

Install reel drive cover as follows:

1.

For SINGLE REEL DRIVE, position reel drive cover (A)
to the reel drive and secure with four bolts (B).
