Prepare 3S-3000F/SGS CTR Driving Shaft
Refer to Figure 79
53. Select one each new:
195-231D SHAFT 7/8 HEX,POINT ROW-CENTER
805-180C PIN ROLL 1/4 X 1 1/2 LG PLT
Note that the right end of the shaft is the end with
3 holes. Drive the roll pin into the hole nearest the
right end of the shaft .
54. Select one each saved:
195-109D BRKAWAY CLUTCH 7/8 HX LONG BR
807-097C SPRING COMP 2 1/16 OD X 4 LG
176-066D CLUTCH SPRING RETAINER
804-061C
WASHER MACH 1.50 X 1.00 X 18GA
and one new:
805-180C PIN ROLL 1/4 X 1 1/2 LG PLT
55. Compress the spring and secure it in compres-
sion with some wire.
56. With the clutch jaws toward the pinned (right)
end of the shaft , place the clutch on the shaft.
Place the compressed spring on the shaft.
57. With the larger flared end of the retainer to the
left (away from the spring), place the retainer on the
shaft against the spring, followed by the washer
.
58. Drive the roll pin into the hole second from the
right end of the shaft. Release the wire securing the
spring.
59. Insert the left end of the shaft through the right side
of the bearing . Do not pin the shaft in place at this
time.

Refer to Figure 80
60. Select one each new:
823-231C OGURA CLUTCH
195-347D ELECTRIC CLUTCH ADAPTOR
and three sets new:
802-684C HHCS M8X1.25X55 GR8.8
804-157C WASHER SPRING LOCK M8 PLT
Set the clutch assembly on a work surface, with the
torque arm end of the Ogura clutch down.
61. Secure the large end of the 195-347D adaptor to
the Ogura clutch with the bolts and lock wash-
ers . Torque to specifications.
