Install 3S-4000F/SGS RH Clutch
Refer to Figure 140
79. Select two new:
804-061C WASHER MACH 1.50 X 1.00 X 18GA
and one new:
195-349D WING FERT CLUTCH OUTER SPCR TB
Place the washers , then the spacer on the
right end of the drive shaft .
80. Select one saved:
195-160H SPKT CLUTCH 40B23T RND BORE
With the thicker side of hub to the right, place the
sprocket
on the right end of the drive shaft .
If the following are not still in sprocket , insert
them now:
817-111C BSHG FLG 1.26IDX1.41ODX.87L
176-065D CLUTCH FRICTION WASHER
195-222D BRG 7/8 HEX ID X 1.254 OD
With any flanged ends to the right, place the bushing
, the friction washer and the bearing on
the drive shaft , inside the sprocket .
81. Select the saved:
808-240C SPKT 40A23X1.813-1.818 BR/6HOL
and three sets saved:
802-551C HHCS 1/4-20X2 1/4 GR5
804-006C WASHER LOCK SPRING 1/4 PLT
Place the sprocket on the shaft , and loosely
combine it with the earlier sprocket by inserting
bolts through lock washers at every other
hole in the left face of sprocket .
82. Select one:
195-350D WING FERT CLUTCH INNER SPCR TB
Insert the spacer inside the sprocket assembly .
83. Select the clutch assembled at step 72. Place it
on the shaft , over the spacer . Rotate the clutch
until the threaded holes of the adaptor align with
the bolts . Loosely screw in the bolts.
84. Select one each new:
196-877D BUSHING 1 1/8 ODX7/8 HEX BORE
839-956C KEY 1/4 X 3/16 X 3.80
Place bushing inside clutch . Align keyways of
bushing and Ogura clutch . Insert key
85. Select two new:
804-061C WASHER MACH 1.50 X 1.00 X 18GA
and one new:
402-025S LOCK COLLAR, 7/8 HEX W/ SET SC
which, if not pre-assembled, consists of:
1
402-058D COLLAR LOCK 7/8 HEX and
2 801-035C SCREW SET 5/16-18 SKT KP X 3/8
86. Adjust set screws to clear the collar hex hole.
Place the collar on the left end of the shaft . Do
not tighten the set screws at this time. To prevent
part loss, slide input shaft
fully to the right, into
right support bearing .
87. Select three new:
805-180C PIN ROLL 1/4 X 1 1/2 LG PLT
Drive the roll pins into the empty holes of
sprocket . Tighten bolts to specification and
re-seat roll pins.
88. Select one new:
805-180C PIN ROLL 1/4 X 1 1/2 LG PLT
and the saved ground drive sprocket (removed at
step 62, not shown here). With raised hub side
toward the bearing
, place sprocket on shaft ,
and secure with roll pin .
89. Shift the collar and clutch assembly fully to
drill left, into Drive Type chain . Secure set screws.
