Configuring IPv6 Routing

Configure a static reject route.

ipv6 route distance

Set the default distance (preference) for static IPv6

routes. Lower route preference values are preferred when

determining the best route.

exit

Exit to Global Config mode.

show ipv6 route [

ipv6-

address | ipv6-

prefix/prefix-length |

protocol | interface-type

interface-number] [best]

View the routing table.

ipv6-address—Specifies an IPv6 address for which the

best-matching route would be displayed.

protocol—Specifies the protocol that installed the

routes. Is one of the following keywords: connected,

ospf, static.

ipv6-prefix/ prefix-length—Specifies an IPv6 network

for which the matching route would be displayed.

interface-type interface-number—Valid IPv6 interface.

Specifies that the routes with next-hops on the selected

interface be displayed.

best—Specifies that only the best routes are displayed.

If the connected keyword is selected for protocol, the

best option is not available because there are no best or

non-best connected routes.

show ipv6 route summary View summary information about the routing table.
show ipv6 route

View detailed information about the route preferences.
