Click OK here, on the Accept List window, and finally on the Message Delivery
Options window. You are now done with this step, and have completed the
installation of the SMTP Connector.
2.9.2.6.8 Configuring DNS to Allow Off-Site Access
If it off-site users need to send faxes, typically all that is required is the fax
domain be published in DNS. Add an
A record that points to the fax server’s
public IP (for HTTP client access, see 3.1.2.1 Using HTTP Clients over the
Internet ). Also add an MX record for the fax domain that points to your Exchange
mail server.
2.9.2.7 Exchange 2007 and Exchange 2010 Routing
If your organization uses Exchange as their Mail Transport Agent, it is
recommended to configure an SMTP Connector to route mail messages to the
NET SatisFAXtion SMTP Gateway. Alternate methods (e.g. DNS MX records) will
also work, see above for details.
2.9.2.7.1 Add a Send Connector to the Hub Transport
Open the Microsoft Exchange Management Console. Expand Organization
Configuration. Right-click on Hub Transport, and choose New Send Connector.
This will launch the New SMTP Send Connector wizard.
