2.5.1.3.2

Strip Digits from Front or Back of DID

With some PBXs or VoIP systems, there are more digits provided in the DID than
are desired.

When using AudioCodes equipment, see Protocol Configuration ► Manipulation
Tables
in the web interface of the AudioCodes device.

To strip a fixed length of digits from the front (left) of a number, set the following
registry key. Note that in Administration and Reports the full string will still be
visible, but this many digits will be ignored for routing purposes.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\FaxBack\CASDrive]

"DtmfRouteStripCount" = <NumberToStrip>

To strip digits from the end (right) of a number, configure the number of DTMF
digits collected to be less than the full digit string being sent from the PBX.
