post page holdup. If post receive convert is enabled or the debug pages are
enabled, ICANFax will always respond to the driver holdup with an MCF as the
conversion is not done in real time. Setting to

0

disables RTP. Default:

5

.

r tn_percent [dword 0–100]: This is the percentage of bad scan lines to good
scan lines that will cause ICANFax to respond with an RTP to the fax driver. This
only applies when doing non-ECM fax receive and the driver is configured for a
post page holdup. If post receive convert is enabled or the debug pages are
enabled, ICANFax will always respond to the driver holdup with an MCF as the
conversion is not done in real time. This value will take precedence over the

rtp_percent

. Setting to

0

disables RTN. Default:

10

.

send_all_pages_on_retr y [string]: Tells ICANFax how to send pages when
retrying (with reconnect) a fax that partially succeeded. There are three options,
as follows:

YES

Send whole message again.

NO

Send first page of the message (usually the cover) plus

unsent pages.

UNSENT_ONLY

Send only unsent pages. Unsent pages means the first page

that was not successfully sent, plus all following pages to
the end of the message

queues_path [string]: Name of queues directory. Default:

Queues

.

validation_dll [string]: Path to validation dll.

ICANFax Device

pause_before_send [dword 0–65535]: This sets the time in seconds to wait
before sending a message that is due to go out. Set this to a value greater than
0 to allow boards some time to answer calls between sends when they have
multiple send messages waiting to go out. Some devices need this also because
they don’t have the min on hook feature that guarantees the call from a prior
connection has had enough time to disconnect. This is a device specific setting,
but you can set the default for all devices by specifying this under the global
ICANFax section. Default:

0

.

fax_driver_name [string]: Device name that will override the key name that is
used for the fax device name. This needs to match a key or fax_device_name
from the driver specified by fax_driver_name. This would really only need to be
different when using the device# key name ordering option of ICANFax.
Format: One of the following values:

BOS_MAN

BT_MAN
CLASS1

CLASS2
GAMMAFAX

IP_FAX
PLUGIN_FAX_W32

SATISFAX

mode [string]: Sets whether this device sends, receives, both, or neither. This
setting must be present. When the application specifies "*" for "first available"
device when sending a message, devices set to

FAX_OUT

only have higher priority

than devices set to

FAX_IN

,

FAX_OUT

. This is to prevent devices that are set to

both send and receive from sending a message, thus being unavailable for
receives, when a device set to only send is available. This is a device specific
