4.5.1.1 User Accounts / Username
User Accounts
There are two levels of user accounts: Administrator and Normal User.
There must always be at least one (1) Administrator account. The first Administrator account
must be created through the Configuration Wizard. If only one Administrator account exists, the
user cannot delete the account. An error message will be displayed if there is an attempt to delete
the Administrator.
Up to five user accounts are supported via the Web, SSH and Serial interfaces. Account
authentication uses passwords, which must follow the complexity requirements described in
Section 4.5.1.2.
Username
Usernames must be at least five (5) and no more than 31 alphanumeric characters in length.
