Performance Monitoring with the Console
Port
This chapter describes local performance registers monitoring and
diagnostics and statistics using the Console. It also provides
information on interpreting the front panel LEDs in conjunction with
console status and statistical displays of loopbacks and alarms.
Main Menu The Main Menu is the first screen displayed (see Figure 8-1 ).

Navigating the
menu tree To display any of the five screens listed in the Main Menu, advance the
blinking cursor to the left of the selection wanted and press the ENTE
key.
