2. Remove the misfed paper without tearing it.
* If the paper does tear, remove any scraps of torn paper from inside the copier.
3. Push the drawer back in firmly.

WHEN PAPER MISFEEDS
● Misfeed in paper feed section of drawer
If "PAPER MISFEED. OPEN LEFT2 COVER." and the misfeed location indicator
shown as
● in the illustration appear, a misfeed has occurred in the paper feed
section of the drawer.
* If the optional drawer-type paper feed unit is installed, "PAPER MISFEED. OPEN
LEFT3 COVER." and the misfeed location indicator shown as a in the illustration
appear. Remove the misfed paper in the same way.
1. Open left 2 or 3 cover of the drawer whose misfeed indicator is lit.
2. Remove the misfed paper without tearing it.
* If the paper does tear, remove any scraps of torn paper from inside the copier.
3. Close the left cover.
● Misfeed in deck
If "MISFEED IN PAPER DRAWER. REMOVE PAPER." and the misfeed location
indicator shown in the illustration appear, a misfeed has occurred in the optional
large-capacity deck-type paper feed unit.
1. Pull out the deck.
