Drawer cannot be closed.
Was more than one drawer pulled open at
one time?
Pull open the drawer that is closed, and
close it together with the drawer that could
not be closed.

Copies are dirty. Is the platen or the original cover dirty? Clean the platen and/or the original cover. 81
Copy image is askew. Are the originals set correctly?
When originals are set on the platen, align
their edges with the correct original size
scale for their size.
When originals are set in the optional DF,
align the original insertion guide securely,
and set the original.

Paper keeps being misfed. Is the paper set correctly in the drawers? Set paper correctly. 11
Is paper curled, folded over or wrinkled? Replace the paper with new paper. 11
Is there any misfed paper or loose scraps
of paper remaining inside the copier? Carry out the appropriate procedure to
remove the paper.

Copied paper may curl badly and it may
cause paper misfeeds depending on the
type of paper and keeping state.
Remove the paper from drawer and turn it
over and reset.
