Point-to-Point
This parameter defines whether the port is functioning as a point-to-
point port. The possible settings are Yes, No, and Auto-Detect. For an
explanation of this parameter, refer to “Point-to-Point and Edge Ports”
in Chapter 22, “Spanning Tree and Rapid Spanning Tree Protocols” in
the AT-S63 Management Software Menus Interface User’s Guide.

Edge Port
This parameter defines whether the port is functioning as an edge port.
The possible settings are Yes and No. For an explanation of this
parameter, refer to “Point-to-Point and Edge Ports” in Chapter 22,
“Spanning Tree and Rapid Spanning Tree Protocols” in the AT-S63
Management Software Menus Interface User’s Guide

4. After you have configured the parameters, click Apply.

5. To permanently save your changes, select the Save Config option in

the Configuration menu.

Displaying RSTP

Settings

To display RSTP parameter settings, perform the following procedure:

1. From the Home page, select Monitoring.

2. From the Monitoring menu, select the Layer 2 option.

3. Select the Spanning Tree tab.

The Spanning Tree tabs is shown in Figure 116 on page 299.

This tab displays information on whether spanning tree is enable or
disabled and which protocol version, STP or RSTP, is active.

4. Click View.
