1 Overview

Service Health Manager (SHM) provides a solution to ensure the network service quality. It monitors

network services in real time and enables you to fast locate network failures.

SLA

Service Level Agreement (SLA) evaluates the service health based on the service availability, MTTR, and

MTBF. It gets KPIs from the NQA instance module and IMC components, such as Performance

Management, Alarm Management, and NTA.

SHM provides access to the following modules that are used for creating an SLA:

KQI—Includes one or multiple KPIs and provides KQIs for the SLA.

Service level—Defines the service level for the SLA.

SLA—Associates KQIs and monitored objects and provides the service evaluation policy.

Grasp of the network topology and analysis for KPIs and KQIs are required for correct SLA service

evaluation.
