Voltage Frequency Detection Function

Procedure

If the power supply frequency is 50 Hz or 60 Hz, check the detected power supply
frequency via Ethernet using calibration software (the API for MX100/DARWIN or the
MX100 Standard Software). See the user’s manuals for each software program for the
operating procedures of those programs.

2.2.5

Battery Backup Function

Turn OFF the power to the MX100, then check whether the IP address was retained.

Procedure

1.

Turn OFF the power to the MX100.

2.

After at least 1 minute has elapsed, turn the power to the MX100 back ON again.

3.

Confirm that the 7-segment LED reads 00.

4.

Without changing any settings on the PC, check that communications can be

performed via Ethernet in the same manner as before turning the power OFF in
step 1.

2.2.6

Module Communication Function

Procedure

1.

Connect one or more modules to the base plate, then connect the base plate to

the MX100 main module.

2.

Confirm that the modules are detected by the PC software.

2.2.7

LED Display Test

Procedure

1.

Turn ON the power.

2.

After completion of the self check and other procedures, confirm that 00 is

displayed.

3.

Confirm that the orange LED on the Ethernet connector illuminates when

connected via Ethernet, and that the green LED blinks during communication.

2.2.8

CF Card Test

Procedure

1.

Insert a CF card into the CF card slot on the MX100.

2.

Press the access stop switch.

3.

Remove the CF card, read the CF card on a PC, and confirm that an error log

was recorded on the card.

card.
