Power Supply Frequency Detection Function Test

Procedure

Use a communication command (ASCII command, port number 34318) via Ethernet, to
check whether the detected power supply frequency is 50 Hz or 60 Hz.

2.3.5

Battery Backup Function

Turn OFF the power to the MW100, then check whether the IP address was retained.

Procedure

1.

Turn OFF the power to the MW100.

2.

After at least 1 minute has elapsed, turn the power to the MX100 back ON again.

3.

Without changing any settings on the PC, check that communications can be

performed via Ethernet in the same manner as before turning the power OFF in
step 1.

Module Communication Function

Procedure

1.

Connect one or more modules to the base plate, then connect the base plate to

the MW100 main module.

2.

Confirm that the modules can be detected with communciation commands (ASCII

commands, such as RS 0 or CF 0).

2.3.7

LED Display Test

Procedure

1.

Turn ON the power.

2.

After completion of the self check and other procedures, confirm that 00 is

displayed (if the unit number is set to 0).

Confirm that the 7-segment LED contains no defective segments.

2.3.8

Serial Communication Function Test (with Option /C2 or /C3 Only)

Procedure

1.

Connect the PC to the MW100 using a serial communication cable or RS232/

RS422 converter. Send an arbitrary command from the PC to the MW100 and
confirm that the expected result occurrs.
