Excessive Input Test

Procedure

1.

Connect the I, +/A, /B and C terminals individually on all channels.

Input excessive voltage in the DCV range.

• Settings on module under test: 1 V range or less, measurement interval of

500 msec

• Apply voltage between I, A and B, C terminals on channels 1 through 6.
• Apply ±20 V to each for ten seconds and confirm that the instrument

operates normally.

3.

Input an excessive voltage in the resistance range.

• Settings on module under test: 20 Ω, measurement interval of 500 msec
• Short the I, A, B, and C terminals on channels 1 through 6 and apply a

voltage to both ends.

• Apply ±10 V to each for one minute and confirm that the instrument operates

normally.

* Abnormalities refers to excessive current or emissions of light or smoke.

2.6.4

ID Check

This test confirms whether the module is correctly identified when module information is
obtained from the MX100, MW100, or equivalent.

Procedure

Power cycle the instrument and confirm that the module ID is recognized correctly.
