do not use a CIP connection:
• Explicit messaging-based control using PCCC, or the Register or
Assembly objects, including the PLC-5, SLC 500, or MicroLogix 1100
controller examples in Chapter 4
• Explicit messaging where ‘connected’ is not chosen, which is typically
the default
• DriveExplorer software connections to the drive
