Installing the Library in a Rack

If you are only installing one module (a control module5U Library
Control Module), unpark the robot assembly now. For instructions,
see step 1 on page 256. If you are installing more modules, proceed to
the next step and do not unpark the robot assembly yet.

Close the module’s doors.

Install the remaining modules of your library (if any), following the
instructions in Installing Additional Modules Into the Rack on
page 347.

Reinstall the tape drives, power supplies, and tape cartridges in the
library.

Cable your library as necessary, following the instructions provided
in Cabling the Library on page 212.

Power on the library.
