NEUTRAL CONTROL ADJUSTMENT

1.1.

Turn the engine off.

1.2.

Safely lift and support the tractor so that all four
wheels are off the ground. See Figure 1.2.

NOTE: When performing any service on Posi-
Trak equipped tractors, remember that the front
wheels engage automatically whenever the rear
wheels turn faster than the front ones. If the rear
wheels alone are suspended and the drive sys-
tem engaged, there is a possibility of the tractor
moving under the traction of the front wheels
only. This condition exists only if the seat safety
feature fails or is purposely defeated.

1.3.

Push the seat all the way back.

1.4.

Remove the two phillips head screws that
secure the rear edge of the tunnel cover.

Figure 1.2

1.5.

Remove the four bolts that hold the sides of the
tunnel cover using a 1/2” wrench.
See Figure 1.5.

1.6.

Carefully pry-up the push-in fasteners that hold
the inside rear corner of each foot pad to the
fender assembly. See Figure 1.6.

1.7.

Fold both foot pads out of the way, to ease
removal of the tunnel cover.
