6.2. Remove the air filter hose from the air cleaner
canister.
7. UPPER RADIATOR HOSE:
7.1. Loosen both hose clamps securing the upper
radiator hose in position using pliers, and move
them towards center. See Figure 7.1.
7.2. Remove the upper radiator hose.
8. LOWER RADIATOR HOSE:
8.1. Loosen the lower adjustable hose clamp secur-
ing the lower radiator hose to the radiator using
a 5/16” socket. See Figure 8.1.
8.2. Place a suitable coolant drain pan below the
lower radiator hose.
8.3. Remove the lower end of the lower radiator hose
from the radiator and allow it to drain completely.
9. FAN SHROUD:
9.1. Remove all three hex lock nuts and flat washers
securing the upper portion of the fan shroud to
the radiator using a 7/16” socket. See Figure
9.1.
9.2. Remove both hex lock nuts and flat washers
securing the lower portion of the fan shroud to
the radiator using a 7/16” socket. See Figure
9.2.
NOTE: The flat washers are orientated one to
front and one to rear.
9.3. Pull the fan shroud rearward over the radiator
fan.
