19. DIFFERENTIAL ASSEMBLY:
19.1. Remove all four hex cap lock screws securing
the differential bearing cover to the transmission
housing using a 9/16” socket. See Figure 19.1.
NOTE: Loctite™ the threads and torque them
between 220 and 280 In. Lbs. during assembly.
19.2. Slide the differential assembly to the right. See
Figure 19.2.
19.3. Remove the bearing cover and differential lock
collar from the differential carrier.
NOTE: The ball bearing may or may not be
removed with the bearing cover and differential
lock collar.
19.4. Remove the differential assembly from the trans-
mission housing.
NOTE: Slide a 6” dowel through the differential
lock collar and into the differential assembly to
hold all components in position during assembly.
20. HYDRAULIC OIL FILTER:
20.1. Place a suitable drain container below the trans-
mission.
20.1. Remove the hydraulic oil filter from the transmis-
sion housing. See Figure 20.1.
NOTE: Install the hydraulic oil filter last during
assembly.
