Cleaning
the machine
BEFORE CLEANING THE A^ACHINE, UNPLUG IT
FROM ELECTRIC OUTLET.
The machine surfaces and covers can be cleaned with
a damp, soft cloth and a mild soap.
Remove lint and fluff from exposed parts with a lint
brush, which is an accessory of your machine, clean
these parts:
• Take-up lever, thread guides and needle thread
tension dial.
• Presser bar and needle bar.
• Bobbin case and needle plate area.
Note:
DO NOT remove the positioning plate
(A).
If
area under positioning plate needs cleaning, take
your machine to an authorized Singer Service Center.
YOUR A^ACHINE MUST BE PERIODICALLY CHECKED
BY YOUR LOCAL SINGER AUTHORIZED SERVICE
CENTER FOR WEAR.
