RECOMMENDED INITIALSETTINGS
Pattern: Straight Stitch
Needle Position: Center
Stitch Width: Straight
Stitch Length: Variable
Foot: Zipper Foot
This function is used to embellish a variety of projects.
Sew 1/4 of an inch from the edge of your garment or
seam to topstitch.
Elastic application
RECOMMENDED INITIALSETTINGS
Pattern: Multistitch zigzag (D)
Needle Position: Center
Stitch width: Variable
Stitch Length: 1 to 1.5
Foot: General Purpose
This function is used to attach flat elastic to lingerie and
swimwear. Secure elastic end to the edge of your fabric
with a backstitch. Set machine to multistitch zigzag and
pull elastic as you sew it down. Can also be used for
mending.
