Twin needle

sewing

Twin needle sewing produces straight and parallel zigzag
stitches. It may be used for hemming, application of elastic
or other decorative stitch patterns.

RECOMMENDED INITIAL SETTINGS

Pattern: All
Needle position: Center

Stitch length: 1 -5
Stitch width: Set at "H" setting

Foot: General purpose

Note: Do not use a stitch width greater than that

recommended, because it may cause the needle to
break.

1. Insert the twin needle.

2. Insert a second felt and spool pin (illustration 1).
3. Insert both spools and pass both threads together in the

thread guide the usual way, except for the last thread
guide.

4. Pass the thread of the horizontal spool pin through the

last thread guide and through the eye of the left needle.

The other thread shall not pass through the thread guide,
only through the eye of the right needle (illustration 2).

Note: When you are sewing with twin needle, you cannot

use the automatic needle threader. The procedure
must be manual.
