Flexible stitch

patterns

The Flexible Stitch patterns are ideal to sew knit fabrics

and other stretch fabrics.

RECOMMENDED INITIAL SETTINGS

Needle position: Center

Stitch width: Variable

Stitch length: Positioned on mark

"I”

Foot: general purpose

Select a Flexible Stitch pattern from table on page 28 and

position the stitch pattern dial to the respective letter.

Turn the stitch length dial to the left until the mark

"I”

lines

up to the dot (mark in relief) on the machine.

Note: If for any reason the machine does not start sewing

your desired pattern after aligning the two dot
symbols push in on the reverse stitch button.

Adjusting the Flexible stitch pattern

Use the stitch balance selector to adjust the opening of the

stitch. Move selector to the left to bring stitches together.

Move selector to the right to separate stitches.
