Raising the bobbin
thread
1. Liftpresserfoot.
2. Hold needle thread loosely with left hand. Turn
hand wheel toward you, lowering the needle.
3. Continue to do this until needle rises above needle
plate. Gently pull the needle thread bringing up
bobbin thread in a loop (illustration 1).
4. Open loop with fingers to find the end of bobbin
thread.
5.
Draw both threads under the presser foot
(illustration 2). Pull both threads to back of
machine.
6. Finally, close the bobbinvisorcompletely.
